My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that film education must be practical, structured, and closely connected to industry standards. I build courses with clear and achievable outcomes. Knowledge should transfer directly into professional work, and students should understand how each assignment prepares them for real production environments.

I design syllabi and exercises from my own experience on set and in the edit room, modeling them on tasks students will encounter in the field. Expectations are transparent, and workflows are rigorous but never overloaded. Every step has a purpose that students can see on screen. I want students to leave my classes with a strong sense of craft, a repeatable process, and the confidence to carry a project from idea to finished film.
